Our Honda Street Legal Kits are intended to help you convert your off-road UTV (side-by-side) or ATV (quad) to a street legal ride in many states. In addition our kits include parts that are actually D.O.T. approved items. That is to say, you will need these while converting your off-road recreational vehicle to street legal status. Be careful, as some of our competitors out their Do Not use D.O.T. approved parts. Consequently they will sell you a kit that it is not D.O.T. approved.
All states have their own D.O.T. requirements for street legal equipment. On the other hand, check with your local Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or Motor Vehicle Division (MVD). Certainly get the information for your local requirements. Furthermore, most states require a Horn (120 db+), Lighted License Plate and Turn Signals. However, not all states require turn signals (hand signals are ok). Above all, we highly recommend turn signals for your added safety. That is to say, we know through experience that some drivers DO NOT know what hand signals are.
Why Our Honda Street Legal Kits are Completely Independent
I get asked a few times every month, why don’t you use the UTV or ATV rear OEM lights for the rear turn signals? The answer is very simple. I developed my Turn Signal Kits (TSK) to be completely independent for THREE main reasons. ONE, you do not want any possible feedback from the LED Electronic Flasher into the ECU of your UTV or ATV. Consequently, electronic feedback can cause problems with your ECU and they are very expensive to replace. TWO, you do not want to affect (invalidate) your manufactures warranty by tapping into any existing OEM lights or wiring. THREE, you want both rear stop lights when activating the turn signals (like our automobiles), not just one. As a result, with all my different Honda street legal kits you will never have these concerns or issues.

First of all this horn kit is for making your recreational vehicle street legal or letting those around you know you’re there. Furthermore, most states require the horn to be 120 db or more, ours is 130 db, very loud, legal and D.O.T. approved in all states. In addition this 12 volt horn kit comes complete with all the parts, wiring and instructions with diagrams.
We use a FIAMM horn in our kit. Above all FIAMM is recognized as the world’s leading producer of horns. Most importantly the smaller size makes it easy to install. Even more, on any ATV (quad) or UTV (side-by-side), and with great quality for a loud sound. In addition it exceeds the S.A.E. and O.E.M. specifications for a wide range of vehicle applications.

This kit can be easily installed in about 30 minutes, it does not go into any factory wiring and above all it will not void your manufactures warranty! In addition, there is no cutting or splicing and it comes with all parts needed for your install. Note: First of all, you need to drill a 3/16th inch hole (or use an existing hole) in the frame to mount the FIAMM horn. In addition, drill a 1/2″ inch hole in the dash to mount the horn button. The LED Lighted License Plate Bracket is one of our ATV and UTV Honda street legal kits. Consequently this is for making your recreational vehicle street legal in those states requiring a 7″ x 4″ license plate. Furthermore, the License Plate Bracket comes complete with the mounting hardware, extra wire, connectors, wire ties and the installation/wiring instructions. In addition the LED license plate bracket can be easily installed in less than 30 minutes.

This is a 12 volt LED chrome-plated license plate light with rust proof non-corrosive black polymer (plastic) license plate bracket. Firstly, the LED light includes both power (+) and ground (-) wires. In other words the bracket can be mounted to any surface. This is a 12 volt LED Turn Signal Kit with 2 Amber (front) and 2 Red (rear) or your choice of all Amber D.O.T. approved LED lights. Our LED light kit comes with two 4″x 2″ inch rectangular amber (front) and two 4″x 2″ inch rectangular red (rear) LED lights. However, you can substitute the rear lights for the ¾” SM LED lights to give your Honda street legal UTV a custom look.
Honda Street Legal Kits Specifications
This LED light kit comes with a column mounted turn signal switch. First of all, it has a pilot light for the turn signals and 4-way emergency flashers (hazard warning). Secondly, our turn signal switch has a pull out flare tab for the 4-way hazard lights. Finally, it comes with the hardware to mount it to your steering column.
The four LED Lights are 4”x 2” rectangular with 16 (LED) Light Emitting Diodes each. In addition, they have a polycarbonate lens & housing and come with encapsulated electronics to eliminate corrosion. Also, you can substitute the 4″x 2″ (rear) LED lights for the ¾” SM LED lights to add a custom look.
This special LED Flasher has the 3 pin connections for LOAD, PILOT and POWER. Also, the electronic LED flasher is quite, no annoying clicking sounds.
Our kit includes: 2 Amber and 2 Red or all Amber D.O.T. approved LED lights. Secondly, the turn Signal Switch and the hardware to mount it to your steering column (see TSS mounting hardware notes above). Furthermore, the LED Flasher, an ATC in-line fuse holder with a 3 amp fuse. Also, the self tapping screws for mounting the lights and flasher. In addition, the mounting installation instructions with wiring instructions & diagram. Most importantly, with our Honda street legal kits you get all the help and support you need from EZ Turn Signal Kits.
Important Note
Note FYI: I have heard people say that a column mounted Turn Signal Switch (TSS) is in the way of you entering and exiting the unit, not true! Secondly, they say you will bump the TSS lever with your legs and even break that lever, again not true! In other words, I am 6’3″ and 250 pounds, I have never bumped the TSS and I use my units multiple times a day. Finally, I have sold thousands of the column mounted TSS and never had a customer complain about bumping or breaking one.

Note: The steering column mounted turn signal switch is the safest and easiest to operate. Most Importantly, we always recommend that you install a steering column mounted turn signal switch kit. To clarify, we recommend our (stock# 104, 105 or 107-SM) on a UTV side-by-side (if you have the steering column space), for your added safety. In other words, a steering column mounted turn signal switch is located in the same area as your automobile. To clarify, it comes natural for activating while keeping your eyes on the road.
